Inside the Luxury of Viceroy Brickell

The completion of Viceroy Brickell represents a significant collaboration between our shop and the project’s lead partners, Related Group, Moriarty, and Meyer Davis. While the tower scales 45 stories, our scope was concentrated on the two floors of premier amenity space that serve as the building’s aesthetic backbone. For our team, the project was an exercise in executing high-detail custom fabrications that bridge the gap between architectural scale and human-centric design.

Viceroy’s arrival in Miami as a standalone residential brand marks a shift toward "lifestyle supremacy," bringing a legacy of luxury hospitality into a permanent residential setting. The brand is defined by a commitment to local storytelling and a high-touch, intuitive service model. Our task was to ensure that the physical environment supported this narrative. In a city like Miami, where the luxury standard is constantly being redefined, the Viceroy brand stands for a specific kind of refined restraint—a vision that required our most precise engineering to execute successfully.

Our partnership with Related Group on this project is a continuation of our collaborative history. Related Group is known for transforming city skylines through a unique blend of museum-quality art and innovative architecture; our role as a repeat collaborator is to provide the technical continuity and craftsmanship that their brand of "meticulous luxury" demands.

Our work begins in the lobby, where the goal was to establish the building’s visual DNA immediately upon entry. In coordination with Meyer Davis and the general contractor, Moriarty, we executed a range of monolithic and intimate fabrications, including the custom stone reception desk and the integrated resident coffee bar and lounge. These elements were engineered to transition the energy of the Brickell neighborhood into a refined, private sanctuary, utilizing intricate wall paneling and sculptural ceiling details to frame the experience.

On the upper amenity levels, the complexity of the fabrication intensified, particularly within the resident club room. Here, we engineered a three-tiered bar featuring a unique Z-shape geometry. This specific assembly required the precise structural integration of a terrazzo top, a tiled front, and a custom organic hanging wood and brass feature. Managing the tolerances between these disparate materials—stone, metal, and wood—was a primary focus for our engineering and install teams.

Beyond the social hubs, our scope extended into specialized environments like the Cinema Room, where we fabricated and installed a series of upholstered wall panels that wrap the space and frame the screen. Throughout all three floors, the objective remained the same: to deliver high-performance custom fabrications that meet the exacting standards of Meyer Davis’s vision. We value the trust placed in us by Related Group and Moriarty to execute these critical touchpoints, which now serve as the permanent backdrop for the Viceroy community.
