McKenzie Craft Supports Breast Cancer Awareness and Research
This October, McKenzie Craft is proud to stand with our community in the fight against breast cancer. Our team recently stepped out of the workshop to participate in the 2025 Miami / Fort Lauderdale Komen Races and Walks, raising awareness and supporting life-saving research.
The fight against breast cancer is personal for so many families, and it’s a mission that resonates deeply with us. The Susan G. Komen Foundation has been a pioneer in this effort since 1982, with a vision of a world without breast cancer. Its mission, to save lives by addressing critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research, has inspired millions worldwide. From funding early detection and treatment programs to supporting innovative research initiatives, Komen has made tangible strides in changing the course of this disease.
The foundation’s story began with Nancy Brinker and her sister Susan G. Komen. After Susan’s diagnosis and struggle with breast cancer, Nancy dedicated her life to ensuring others would have access to the resources, knowledge, and support her sister and family lacked. From humble beginnings, Komen has grown into a global movement: hosting Race for the Cure® events, funding scientific research, and creating programs that empower patients and their families.
At McKenzie Craft, our dedication to precision, care, and quality extends beyond our custom fabrication. This October, our workshop will be showing visible support for breast cancer awareness, and we encourage our clients and community to join us.
